About the Team
.jpg)
Hello, I’m Frazer I have been involved in the Online Teaching industry since 2014
I have helped many teachers through my websites and Facebook groups get Online Teaching jobs and even become independent online Teachers.
I created this club because this is the best way that I can help teachers like you succeed in changing lives and showing you how you can maximize your earning potential.
I used to worry about helping other teachers move online until I realized how big the Online Teaching market is.
There are more people learning English in China than there are people living in the United states!
and that’s just China!
NOW, I LOVE to see other English teachers succeed online.
All my knowledge and experience of starting up successful businesses related to Online Teaching is here in this course.
I’m super proud of it and know just how valuable it is to have all this information presented in this way.
I hope to see you at an event!
Frazer!

Rob Kawada
co-host
Rob has been working in education and marketing for the past 15 years in Thailand. He began his work with the Ministry of Education, helping to reform schools across the country. Over the past 5 years he has held business development and marketing positions at The American School of Bangkok as well as KIS International School.
His passion for education and technology brought him to start www.englishgang.com to help Thai students learn the English language. His talk at the event will go through how he started such a successful company in Thailand, and how others involved in the education sector can start up something similar.

Hendri
Starbuck
co-host
After gaining a TEFL certificate in 2013, Hendri started his journey into the world of teaching English. He has since gained experience teaching in private schools, language centers, online schools, doing private tutoring, and even teaching some music lessons. In addition to the significant amounts of experience gained,
he has gone on to further solidify his credentials as a teacher by completing a university degree in education, and he is currently busy completing a masters degree in education.
The culmination of all his experience and knowledge gained was the formation of an online language school called Kids@Home.
The idea behind Global English Teacher was conceived toward the end of 2017. Looking back the transition from having no teaching experience to being a teacher would have been so much easier had the TEFL course been more comprehensive, affordable, and convenient. It is with this insight that the idea behind Global English Teacher was conceived, with the intent to allow other aspiring teachers to begin their teaching journey with a solid foundation.
In doing so, we hope to raise the quality of new teachers and also the quality of education as a whole.
Speakers

Mark Cole
EWF Global was the original idea of Mark from the UK, who was working in Bangkok, Thailand, as an English teacher. He wanted to help children and students who couldn’t afford special programme classes or extra curriculum courses, to receive the tuition they needed to escape the cycle of poverty. This inspired concept turned into Educating the World for Free, and the ‘Global’ being that location should never be an issue - hence EWF Global. Approximately 100 English language teachers working throughout Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, and China), came together as a combined effort to start the EWF Global initiative. They raised funds to buy and install resources capable of providing English proficiency classes, both directly in the classroom and online. EWF Global now reaches across the globe and teaching volunteers come from all walks of life - online, high schools, primary schools, infant schools, colleges, faculties of education and University professors. These teachers originate from the UK, South Africa, Europe, Iran, the USA, Morocco, Turkey, India, Cameroon, and Poland. There are also approximately 1,000 people and educationalists following their various social media sites. Their goals include - to provide students and schools in need with technology, facilities, resources, teachers, and internet connections - allowing them to learn English, Science, and Maths, totally FREE!
